    VBAC

I am 42 and having our 6th Child. Our first 4 Children were delivered Vaginally but my last daughter was an emergency csection. My doctor was talking about a Vaginal birth after csection VBAC, and was telling me all the good things about it. Then he dropped the 1percent chance of uterine rupture and demise of mother and baby!!! Ahhhhhh! Anyway, has anyone talked with their MDs about this? I had a bad recovery from csection, but I sure dont want to have another emergency either! Thanks, Julie

My husband's ex had a c-section with her first and then followed with 5 vaginal births. All were okay. I think the success rate varies with the individual. I would agree w/ the pp and check out the VBAC board. Good luck!
