    New here and having complications....

hello everyone and hopefully someone can help me... early thursday morning around 5am or so I woke up with some bleeding and slight cramping.. at first it was a very light pink then gradually turned darker... I went to the ER and there they did some blood work and the results showed my HCG level at 13414, they also did a u/s that measured the sac at 5w3d, she couldnt locate a fetal hb but she said that it could still be to eralt to see it but everything else looked good.... I went home and when i woke up this morning the bleeding had almost stopped, i didnt even have to use a pad but when i used the restroom i still had some pink on the toilet paper... today i went for a follow-up with my ob and he did more blood work (wont get the results back til monday) and another u/s... just as before they couldnt find a hb, it was just a few hours after my visit to the ER so i wasnt expecting to see anything.... his opinion was that with my HCG level being what it is, he thinks he should be able to see a fetal hb.... my question is has anyone experienced this and did it end with a full term pregnancy and a healthy baby?? I have a history of m/s so i am keeping my fingers crossed.... any response would help... pray for my baby

Hi Ashley wanted to say first of all I am sorry that you are going through this but there is hope. Your hcg's seem to be right on track with what your sac is measuring. Did they see a fetal pole? Usually they cant see a heartbeat till your hcg's are 14000 or above and in some cases higher than that. So you are borderline to when a heatbeat should be visible. I to have a history of m/c I havehad two this year first blighted ovum the second unknown. We did have a heartbeat with the second and it just died for what ever reason. Dont let that discourage you I amnow pregnant again and have made it past my rough spot so there is hope. I am very hopefull that it was just to early for them to see a heartbeat for your little bean. Some women are known to have some bleeding in the beginning for so many reasons and delivery healthy babies. Keep your chin up and try not to stress and hopefully they told you to come back in a week to two weeks so that they can re-u/s and hopefully they have the technology to do a transvaginal u/s, those show everything inside a lot better in this early of a stage than a regular u/s. Good luck and my prayers are with you and your little one.
