  cyst on brain Reply Contact I just had my 20 weeks US and my doc said everything looked great EXCEPT that my little girl has two cysts on her brain. I go monday to see a specialist. I was just wondering if anyone else had this happen and how it turned out. My doc said that more that likely they would go away on their own or that she would need another US of her brain after she is born. Other than that she didn't say anything else about it. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

  	Re: cyst on brain Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I had the same thing happen when I was pregnant with my DS. We ended up doing a level 2 u/s about 2 weeks later and they were gone:) Try not to worry to much and I hope everything works out for you:)

  Re: cyst on brain Reply Contact I had the same experience with my first pregnancy in 2003. At the 20 week ultrasound my baby also had bilateral choroid plexus cysts on the brain. I had a followup level 2 ultrasound at 24 weeks with the specialist and they had disappeared. My son is now 5 years old, and a very healthy, happy and intelligent boy at prepimary school. Try not to worry yourself about it. I know thats easier said than done when your pregnant. I hope this helps put your mind at ease. Tania
