Congrats on the 11 week mark. Your stomach is TOTALLY playing games with you. Everyone is different in early pregnancy but it is really important to be trying to get the baby as much nutrition as you can right now. Sooo, prenatal vitamins are def a must and if you are going to try and eat anything, try to make it good nutritous food so every calorie counts. For this early, leafy greens things are the best for their folic acid and iron content. LIke spinach, asparagus, okra. Lentils are also some of the best "power foods" around. They have tons of protein, fiber, and vitamins so a little bit will go a long way for you. Calcium is also really important, so try and get some milk in there too!!!
If all else fails, ask your OB to refer you to a pregnancy dietician or nutritionist that can help you plan what best to eat, even if its not very much, to ensure that baby gets the best possible help at this early stage. Baby will take from your body what he or she needs to develop, and you want to make sure you are replacing that so you can grow a healthy baby, but stay healthy yourself.
Good luck and happy growing. Hopefully, before long you'll be like me and having to NOT eat everything in sight!!!!
