    Tick tock, tick tock

Hey everyone, I'm just checking in and wondering if anyone else is having one of those days where....you are SO SICK of being "grounded"! My hips and back are killing me. I am trying to lay on my left side but I just can't anymore. Talk about counting down the days. Don't get me wrong I am so happy to hit 31 weeks today but man, I have had it. Wahhhh! Ok, just needed to get that out. My DH is wonderful but he gets to leave the house everyday to go to work....oh what I wouldn't do to be able to go to work. HA! Hope you all are having a good week and my whining isn't brining you down. It wasn't meant to, I just kow you can probaly relate.

Hi Ruth. I know how it feels to get restless. I think it is just the anticipation of when we are going to have the baby. I know that is how I feel. Congrats on being 31 weeks that is such a blessing. I am 26 weeks today seems like a lifetime from where you are but it is a blessing to be here...it could be worse. I am still expecting my miracle and I know it will come...I just have to have patience. I just can't wait to prove to the medical profession that an IC pregnant woman with not the greatest cervix can make it full term, despite their medical diagnosis and prognosis. I will keep you in my prayers. I hope that you week goes better next week. Can you get out and go in a wheel chair? Just to get some fresh air. I also thank God that my cervix was closed today and that my fetal echo was normal. Take care and keep in touch. Carmen

Carmen, great news on your appointment. That is wonderful. Thanks for your reply. Today is already a better day, just one of those moments where I needed to vent. As far as getting out, I do pop out here and there and sit outside to get some fresh air so, I guess I need to put myself in check and be thankful I am not in the hospital like many others. I am blessed and needed to be reminded! I may have told you this before but a girlfriend of mine had her first child at 26w due to IC. He is now 3yrs old and doing fantastic. She went on to have another baby, with no cerclage, no bedrest and just 17P shots. She was induced! So, you are right, you can prove to the medical profession that you can make it to full term. Each week that passes, I get more and more excited. It sounds strange but even now if my baby came, I know the outlook would be good. Of course, I want he/she to bake for much longer but knwoing that eases me a bit. Have a great day and keep in touch.

I'm so sorry you were having a bad day. I have them too. They really suck. I think it's because we feel we're in a safer place than we were, and the end is close but far at the same time. I'm there too, everytime I hear something good I think maybe I don't need to be on bedrest but who knows and I can't risk that right now. I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow and I'm hoping that by 34 weeks they'll let me off!
