  what symptoms did u have when u found out it was twins? Reply Contact I'm new and curious if i might b pregnant with twins..Alittle about myself: 28yrs old, 4 single births 1st pgcy ms threw up alot, 2,3,4 didn't get sick hardly, 7 days ago i been really sick to my stomach (all day sickness), sore breats, slight pain on both sides near overies and 4 days ago found out i'm pregnant! twins run on my side of family didn't know what my chances r for twins. just curious what symptoms all u mommies pregnant with twins had in the beginning, i know everyone is different but just wanted to compair. i even tried looking up the info elsewhere they say mothers that had muiltiple births there is a slight higher chance. thx in advance =))

Reply Contact I was EXTREMELY tired.  I seriously was thinking I was anemic.  For nausea it was bad at night, but I have yet to puke and I am 11 weeks today.  I had horrible heartburn right from the get go, which is what prompted me to take a HPT to begin with.  Sore breasts, painfully so, and still really tender, whereas with my son it was gone before I even knew I was pregnant.  Thats about it for me.

I didnt find out that i was preg. with twins untill i was 7 weeks. I actually did have 3 prior ultrasounds that only showev one baby. Anyway. I was extremly tired and severe morning sickness infact i was sick before a pregnancy test even came back positive. Extremely sore breast and i still have sore breast not as sore as the beginning.ANd i had a positive pregnancy test at 3 weeks..I hope this helps you some

Twins do run in my family.  It is also true that over 35 your chances increase for twins.

Reply Contact My twin pregnancy wasn't a whole lot different than my singleton pregnancy as far as symptoms go, except that I didn't get morning sickness as bad with my twins.  The only time I even thought that maybe it could be twins was when I had my OB and MW appointments they would look at me odd when they measured my fundal height and ask me if I was sure about my dates.  It happened like 3 or 4 times.  I didn't find out I was having twins until I was 14 weeks and I went in for an ultrasound to check my cervix.  I had a history of preterm birth and I thought that maybe I could be dilating early because of some familiar pains.  It was a total shock!

Reply Contact very very tired, and nausea all day, especially if my sugar level dropped, so, i had to force myself to eat little bits all day to keep my sugar up, i am 13 weeks now with twins and starting to feel better.
