    Just want to say hi!

Lastnight was one of the worst and best nights I have had in a long time. I woke up to go to the bathroom to find I was bleeding all over my bed. I went to the bathroom and passed BIG clots and was scared out of my mind. I thought for sure I was lossing the twins.(I am 15 weeks and 3days) My husband rushed me to the ER and I almost passed out because of the blood loss. They were able to find both heartbeats right away and sent me off to the u/s. WELL, I have placenta previa again (had it with my first daughter) and was put on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy or till the placenta moves. They give me a low % of the being the case. So bedrest it is!!!! I said I would do anything after thinking I was lossing them to seeing them doing well and showing off what they are. We are having two boys!!!!! So we have two girls and now two boys!!! Jessica

Hi Jessica. Welcome to the bedrest board. My name is Carmen. I have been posting on this board for the past 17 weeks! Yes I have been on bedrest for 17 weeks. It seems like you have experienced it before and maybe you will adjust better than some of us who are first timers for bedrest. There are many of us on the board. However, most of us are at the end or towards the end of our pregnancy, but I do plan to keep in touch and encourage others that the end is possible and that bedrest is just a small piece of our life tha we have to sacrifice...its all worth it at the end. I am 35 weeks pregnant and on bedrest for cervical incompetence. I have a cerclage, but around the 19th week my cervix began to shorten significantly and dilating from the inside or above my stitch. So due to the risk of preterm delivery, i was placed on home bedrest. It was hard in the beginning and the end...the middle seemed to past quickly. So, I hope you find things to do to pass those weeks ahead. Congrats on twins that is a blessing and I pray that God continues to have favor over your life as he has for me. Carmen
