Miscarriage Support

It’s perfectly normal to feel shock, grief, depression, fatigue, and a sense of failure after a miscarriage – especially if it was your first or if you had a hard time conceiving. But the women on this board know just what you’re going through and can offer support, help, and friendship.

    Finally saw my dr.....

He called me yesterday morning right after he got out of surgery and had me come in immediately. He did an exam and u/s and we found out that I had indeed passed everything at home and I did not need a d&c. He talked to me for a long time and answered all of my questions. He said normally he likes you to wait 3 cycles to start ttc, but since I did not a d&c, my uterine lining was not severly scrapped down. So he said he didn't really see a problem with waiting 1 cycle. We have decided to start ttc in 1 cycle and if nothing happens by Mar 2010, then we are going to be done and just enjoy the 2 we already have.

Brandy, I am glad that you did get to see your doctor. Glad that he didn't tell you that you had to wait 3 cycles as well. DH and I decided we will not "wait" at all but will leave it in the Lord's hands again. We do not use any type of BC and don't plan to start now. Also, we have battled infertility our whole 12 years of marriage. I do hope that you will conceive a healthy baby quickly and have no complications. Best wishes.
