    hematoma after c section..

anybody who experience this one.. i would appreciate if u can share ur experiences.... i am 4 weeks post delivery this is my second c section.. three days after the surgery noticed a huge hematoma on my lower right belly.. kind of hard and I can see it's bruised... now that i am 4 weeks post surgery i had chills and fever .. when i go pee (during urination) my bladder feels it's squeezing on something ,.,, went to my doc and said i had a boardeline bladder infection .. @ this time my hematoma on my right of my belly is okay already.. not hurting as it was and it came back to normal skin color.. the thing is when he palpate my lower belly he felt something solid there.. he said if this is hematoma and it's infected the RX he gave me will heal it.. question .. do u think i have hematoma inside?? now i'm curious.. would it absorb by our body itself??

    Re: hematoma after c section..

I would have it checked out and get a 2nd opinion maybe even request an U/S. Not to scare you but there have been cases where the surgeon leaves something in there... like a gauze or instrument. I am NOT saying that is what happened but I have heard of it before. So to be on the safe side... you could get it checked out again... or u could wait and see if it clears with the meds. If not... definately get another opinion! GOOD LUCK!!

I had one after my 2nd csection ... didn't have any problems with it other than a huge bruise that stayed for almost a year!!!
