    Carmen's update

Hi ladies it has been a while. I just wanted to check in to encourage those who are on bedrest. I am a former bedrest gal and had the pleasure of facing all the odds and bringing my little baby boy into the world at 37 1/2 weeks...Jaxon was born 7/26/09. Anyways I have been there and just stay positive and trust in God if you are a believer. Jaxon is doing well. He had to have his newborn screening retested and that came back fine. He wore cast on his legs for a week because his feet were turned inward. He now has a cold and it worries me because I am a nurse and I think the worse all the time. My challenge right now is finding the right formula for him...he has been very gassy and sometimes constipated so I am trying the Enfamil now. the apple/prune juice helped move his bowels though. Anywyas haven't gone back for my post parttum follow up yet that is on tuesday. Motherhood for me is challenging, but I think about all that I went through to get him here and it is all worth it. I hope pregnancy succeed and your little ones become the light of your lives. keep in touch and always let us know how you are doing. Carmen crlong3@hotmail.com
