I am over 21 and pregnant

I recently got married in July of this year (2009) and yesterday morning (9-18-09) tested and got a positive. Yes I am so happy and nervous at the same time, especially since this will be my first child :)

Congrats! This is my first as well, but after all the research and stuff that I've done, I'm really not too nervous. Unfortunately I won't be able to have my DH there cuz he's on deployment and I'm 37 weeks so baby could come any day now. But I have my mom, who I know will be an excellent coach. I wish you the best in your pregnancy, birth, and baby!!!

Re: I am over 21 and pregnant

Hello! I am 23 am almost 5 weeks pregnant. By my calculations I am due July 25. We have been TTC for almost a year now. Back in August we got pregnant, but miscarried at 8 weeks. I haven't even taken a home test this time. I know-- 100% -- that I am pregnant. I have the same cramping and tender, sore, full breasts as last time and the big deal breaker- no period. I really do not understand how people can not know?!?! We are praying that this one sticks. I trust God, but it is very nerve-racking because we prayed for a healthy baby last time. :( Loren (baby daddy) says we deserve twins this time. haha! I will be satisfied with one healthy happy baby born nine months from now!! We plan on having a midwife and doula attended homebirth.

Congratulations! You sound like me! My husband and I got married in June of 2007....then I took a pregnancy test in July after getting some weird feelings" that I was pregnant....and lo and behold...I was. My son was born in February of 2008. What a blessing he is! He's going into his terrible twos early, it seems, but I'm loving being a mommy. I know YOU will too! Now I seem to be pregnant with my second....just found out. Going to see if the doctor can verify it.
