    Just found out its twins

Hey ladies, I just found out at my 2nd ultrasound I'm carrying twins! The shock is starting to wear off and I'm very excited. I'm 13 weeks and have a 2 year old son. I'm hoping I can find some support here. The people in my life seem to point out all the negatives of having multiples! Anyway I really look forward to getting to know you ladies! Congrats to everyone!!

when i found out i was having twins (and this was an unplanned pregnancy) i also had a lot of negative response, i actually still get it, i think your skin just growns hard to it, but i think it is an amazing thing! I only last week started feeling them kick and it is so exciting - if i think too hard about it i get nervous but God wouldnt have given me this challenge if i couldnt do it, and he wouldnt have given it to you either! Congratulations and Good LUck!

Congratulations! I'm so sorry that people have had such a bad reaction to your wonderful news. I am the mom to almost 16 month old boy/girl twins and I completely understand! People weren't especially excited for us either. We're pg again (not planned) and people are most definitely not positive about this one. It's really quite sad. Let me tell you this though - having twins is an absolutely priceless experience that I wouldn't change for the world!!! Watching two little people grow together with a bond that you can only imagine but get to witness is absolutely amazing! Don't get me wrong, it's a TON of work and absolutely exhausting, but having two little people so full of love and so ready to give themselves to each other and to you is something that no one can understand except a twin mommy. I highly reccomend trying to find a Moms of Twins or Moms of Multiples club in your area. My local club has been priceless for support since I was pregnant. Talk about women who understand what you're going through! I hope that you have a fabulous pregnancy and grow a thick skin toward the nay-sayers. They'll more than likely come around as soon as they see your beautiful twins, and even if they don't, oh well!
