    hey-give us your updates...

I was just thinking that it would be nice for everyone on this board to just update us on how your doing, how far along you are, what your having, names that you have picked out and ect. it just seems to me that this should be the most active board yet hardly anyone posts on here. My name is Shannon Im naming the babies Andrew Thomas and Andrea Brooke. Im having faternal twin that are boy, girl. I am almost 34 weeks .. Currently I am in the hospital on bedrest due to preterm labor, well untill sat. that is. then i get to go home on bedrest untill the babies are born. Ive gained alot of weight. i went from 145 to 209. Im doing pretty good. however i do feel that this is the most miserable pregnacy Ive ever had. And i hate that anytime i have a complaint the dr.s and nurses always say yet thats bc your having twins..Anyway I just thought this would be a nice way for us to update each other maybe we can make this a more active board....

Good Idea Shanane!  I also wish this board was more active.

My name is Jessica, Im naming the babies Rayden and Aeralyn. Still undecided on middle names.  Im having faternal twins that are boy, girl. I am 29 weeks with my due date on December 17th.  So far this pregnancy has been great for me.  Other than the fact that my stomach is huge (as big as it was at delivery with my other three boys)  I am way more concerned and scared with this pregnancy....I worry all the time about the well being of my twins... Talking to other moms in the same boat helps.

My name is Tamara, and I am almost 35 weeks with identical boys. I havent gained much weight, thanks to my numerous hospital stays for PTL, 5 in all since 24 weeks. We already have a soon to be 2 yr old son Donevan. The boys will be named Nathaniel Scott and William Alexander

I don't know if I did this post right but my name is Tasha and I am only 10wks and just found out today that we are pregnant with fraturnal triplets and so far they are all doing so good. I have been so sick with morningsickness that they gave me a pick line of fluids and zofran. Life has been so crazy and now it all makes sense! I have two other kids and they are so excited.

Okay krystyna this is a true cry for help. first of all , it is impossiable to be pregnant with quintuplets with out the help of fertility drugs or invitro fertilation. 2nd of all its hard enough to carry twins to 38 weeks much less triplets or quintuplets... I think you should of done a little research before writting this post. I just wanted to let you know that no one on here buys it..

While I don't believe Krystyna's story either, it is not impossible to spontaneously conceive quintuplets. EXTREMELY rare, yes, but not impossible. There have been identical quadruplets on TLC before, so stranger things have happened. Anyway, just saw this post and wanted to comment. Maybe one day I'll get my twin girls but not before hubby's back from Iraq.

    Just giving my update.

I delivered my twins on December 1st 2009.  They weighed 5.6 and 6.2.  We only spent two days in the hospital. They are a little over two weeks old today and doing and growing great.

Hi Ladies, My name is Tina. I am a 27 year old mother to 4 beautiful babies. Isabella is 6 (will be 7 next month), Cohen & Conner just turned 5 in December and Aaliyah is 1 (will be 2 next month). C&C are ID twin boys, who are TTTS survivors born at 28 weeks. Cohen was the recipient twin, born at 2# 10oz and Conner was the donor twin, born at 1# 15oz. They spent 10 weeks in the NICU, with many high's and low's and came home the day before their sisters 2nd birthday, 10 days before their original due date. Today they are perfectly healthy, active 5 year old boys. The only lingering signs of their prematurity has been with their speech. They were delayed quite a bit and have been in therapy since 2.5 years old.

I used to be quite active on this board when I was pregnant with the boys and when they were babies and the ladies on this board gave me a lot of great advise and support during some difficult times. I haven't been on here much and it's sad to see how stagnant this board has become.

Congratulations to all who are just finding out they are expecting twins or are in the height of their pregnancy! I wish you all long, healthy pregnancies. Here is a picture of me and the kids. I like to share and like to see other's pix also.

    Re: hey-give us your updates...

well after a LONG and complicated pregnancy my boys were born on Dec 4th at 37 weeks via c-section.  I was on bedrest from 24 weeks until I gave birth and was hospitalized 5 times for PTL.  My boys are also TTTS survivors, although they had a very mild case, baby B. William was extremely sick after birth and spent 2 weeks in the hospital.  Baby A, Nathaniel was 6lbs 9oz and 18.5 inches long.  Baby B, William was 5lbs 2oz and 17.6 inches long.

Now at 2 months Nathaniel is 11lbs 12 oz and William is 9lbs 12.5oz.  Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi, my name is jeni I'm 31 and this is my first pregnancy. They confirmed by ultrasound last week that I am pregnant with twins. Terrified and thrilled at the same time here. I am due on september 29th. The ultrasound tech said they look faternal but its to early to be 100% posative.
