    Cautiously Optomistic

Well, we got our BFP yesterday.  After four losses I am really trying to stay neutral right now and I know that anything can happen at this point.  I am taking a baby asprin and Lovenox shots so we are doing all we can but still don't know exactly what is causing the miscarriages.  My blood draw yesterday was good, HCG 75 and progesterone 25 and I will have another one tomorrow to see if they go up.  Since we had our loss at 17 1/2 weeks we haven't made it past 6 weeks with a pregnancy.  Please don't congratulate me yet, we have a tough road ahead and I really don't want to get excited, but please wish us lots of luck.    One hurdle jumped and a million more to go!!

Please don't say anything on facebook, we aren't telling anyone yet!!  I am sure you all understand...

Bonnie, I wish you all the luck in the world! I was on the Sept 06 board with you and you've been in my thoughts. I've had 5 m/c in the past 4 years and completely understand not wanting to get excited yet. So, again, I wish you tons of luck and hope that baby sticks! Stick, stick, stick, baby!

I have lost four in the past four years...not a good track record!

Got more good news today though.  HCG is now 212, it more than doubled and the progesterone was 30 something...I stopped listening after I heard my HCG level!  LOL

I had another blood draw today so far so good!  My HCG was 2,019!!  With my miscarriages I have started to bleed at this point in my pregnancy so I am making it farther.  I really hope this is a good sign and the Lovenox is going to help me...

I had an ultrasound today and saw a sack measuring 5 weeks.  It is too early to say whether it is 5 weeks and 3 or 4 days but at least we know we are on track with the bloodwork and ultrasound.

    Re: Cautiously Optomistic

Today my labs went well, my HCG is at 13,995 and progesterone is 29.3.  Last week it had fallen to 25 and I was getting worried but it is back up.  My RE is really hopeful and he said that it is going as well as we could have ever hoped for.  The next big event is Friday,  we have an ultrasound to check for a heartbeat.  I really hope it continues, keep the prayers coming!!

    Re: Cautiously Optomistic

Bonnie, I just wanted to let you know that we have similar srories. We have been ttc for 7 yrs. I got pg for the first time ever Oct last yr but lost my DD Isabella at 17wks. I was on baby asprin for her and progesterone untill I was 13wks. I stuck with the baby asprin till I got my BFP this time then switched to the Lovenox. I hate it as it burns like hell but will be well worth it if things work out this time. My Hcg levels have been high, but despite prometrium 200mg daily my progesterone was falling. It started out high at 50 at 14dpo,but 16dpo was 41, at 23dpo was 33 and at 26dpo was 28. They changed me to the crione gel and doubled the dose. Since then I have had no more bloodwork as they told me to wait untill my u/s. That will be tommrow. It will be my 1st one in this PG and will make for the best Thanksgiving if all is well and we see a heartbeat. The last 8 days have seemed very long waiting to find out if my progesterone is still droping or not. I am wishing you a long and healthy PG and hoping that this time is the one for both of us to end up with those much longed for babies. Best wishes Lisa
