Tylenol PM during pregnancy?

Reply Contact I have taken them before because i can't sleep at night, but i haven't taken them since i read the label. I just didn't even give it a thought bc it was tylenol. Any comments are helpful. thanks.

Reply Contact      It's basically Tylenol with Benadryl mixed in.  Both are fine to use, so go for it!  Sleep deprivation can screw you over, especially when you're pregnant.

My Dr also told me ANY tylenol products were fine to take all 9 months. Its not good to load up on acetaminophen though, have you spoken to your Dr about Ambien? Thats totally safe during pregnancy and i took it the entire third trimester... i had restless leg syndrome. It was great to get some good nights sleep!

Reply Contact Im a military wife and at the naval hospital where we are stationed they have an orientation for women that are starting there prenatal care with them. At the orientation we were told the dos and donts of pregnancy and while they said that regular Tylenol and Tylenol Extra Strengh are fine pregnant women should not use Tylenol PM. They said it can harm your baby. If you decide to take it you are putting your baby at risk. You really should talk to your doctor first.

Reply Contact I as well have taken Tylenol PM...its the only way to get a half way decent sleep.....i figure if moms can take crack or smoke and have a pretty good chance (im exaggerating here...........) then i can take two tylenol PM's and get the much needed rest i need............

I was told that Tylenol PM was fine to take! Boy was I excited. I took those before I was pregnant and i slept for hours and hours it was great.!!!
