  Re: Put on bed rest at 23w...... Reply Contact Just went to my doctor's appointment today and blood pressure is up again, went to nst yesterday and it was high,and it was high on Sunday. Doctor said he is trying to get me as close as he can to 39 weeks to make sure the baby's lungs are fully developed. So he wants me to sit around and do nothing but eat bon bons, and he will see me on Thursday.But want gets me is when the nurse took it to day it was 152/100 but when he came in ten minutes later it was 146/ ? didn't hear what he said the bottom number was and he said that was exceptable. He also said it I get a headache, blurring vision where I am seeing black spots, and pain on right side on top of my stomache than I am to call him and get to the hospital. Hopefully my blood pressure goes down and my labs I took yesterday come back good-my nst went good yesterday except for the blood pressure he said the baby is doing good and is active(which I knew that from feeling the baby kick and move all the time).

  Re: Put on bed rest at 23w...... Reply Contact Good. I am glad you lil one is doing great! I know you bp can change frequently. If you were nervous or worried about you bp being high then it can make it a lil higher. I have really good bp (112/62) when I found out my cervix was over half gone I was balling then they made me see the dr and they took my bp it was 138/74 or something like that. That has been the highest one I have had pg. So just an example of how your mood can make it higher. :)

  Re: Put on bed rest at 23w...... Reply Contact I was nerves when I went in there because I was worried that it would be high and he would say that we are having this baby this week. And I am not ready for the baby to come this week-I need to wash the clothes for the baby(well have my husband to do it for me) and I am not ready to send my two girls up to Phoenix to his parents yet-I have their clothes packed but not mentally and emotionally ready-I don't like being away from my children. But not only for this reason do I not want the baby to come this week it would be to soon for her/him to come.The baby would be two weeks early instead of one week early. My actual due date is on the 23 but my doctor does c-sections a week early so that is why he also wants to try to wait on delivery the baby because he wants me to be as close to 39 weeks as he can get me so he can make sure the baby's lungs are fully developed when she/he is born. So hopefully I can go in there on Thursday and not be nerves or worried and maybe that will help with my blood pressure not be high.

  Re: Put on bed rest at 23w...... Reply Contact The 23rd is when my husband comes home from Kuwait for two weeks! lol So we only have 8 more days to get you threw and you will meet you lil one. You can totally do that. That will be easy. And what a perfect way to catch up on your sleep (as much as you can with 2 other kids! lol) you can really take in the last couple of days of your pregnancy. Kinda look back and take it all in before chaos starts again. I was reading that chocolate can help reduce the risk of preclampsia (sp) so have hubby go get you some!! :) Keep us updated. I am glad you dont have too much longer! I am so excited for you!!!!!!!!

When is your due date (I can't remember if you mentioned it or not)? Today was the first day that I was able to actually fall asleep and take a nap during the day maybe I am finally getting use to staying home on bedrest and doing nothing but sit or lay down in bed all day. I am not one to be sitting around and do nothing. I would rather be doing something. But it does feel good to be just sitting here or laying here doing nothing but catching up on my rest and getting all this rest so I am able to take care of my other children and the baby without being so tired.

I am 27w today.....I have 13w until my due date and 5w until we are in the green zone (32w). I am hoping with each passing week I can get more privliges. lol

So he sent me to the hospital to be on a monitor and to get some more labs down. I was there for a little over an hour. While I was there it went down a little but before I left it went back up again. The nurse called the doctor and he said that I can go home, am on strick bedrest,and to come in on Monday to see him. When the nurse told me about the bedrest I said what does he think I have been doing- I did nothing but stay in bed after my appt. on Tuesday and stayed in bed laying down all day yesterday.And yesterday I actually feel asleep for atleast an hour and a half. Which is unusaul for me because I can't sleep during the day on bedrest or not on bedrest it is hard for me to go to sleep during the day.Well enough about me-thank you for asking. How are you doing? Hope everything is going good for you.

Like when I first was told I had to be on strict bed rest I aske well for how long and they were like the rest of your preg. I told them that wasnt going to happen and they were like 'well if you want your baby to livek, bla bla bla. I finally was like my husband is deployed and I have a two yearold. It has nothing to do with the fact that I dont to do what is best for my baby its actually being able to do it!!! GRR! Well we are good now and that was a dr I dont see anymore. I LOVE my drs. THey are all female and are great. Anyways. As far as I know we are good. I go to the dr on Tues for another u/s and an appt so we will see then for sure. Let me know how monday goes. I am praying for ya! Only a couple of more days and you can be done with all of this. :)

My husband took our two little girls to his parents house in Phoenix today and I couldn't even go with him so I am laying here and sitting here in bed all by myself and it is not fun and lonely. My sister and her husband is on their way from Tucson to visit for awhile and my husband said he is coming home around six or six thirty tonight but he won't get home until tenish.Depending on how many stops he makes on the way home. I miss my girls already it is too way too quiet in the apartment with them gone. I can't even rest I tried to take a nap this afternoon but couldn't get to sleep because of missing the girls and also the exicitment of the baby arriving in five days if you count today and four days not counting today. The days went really fast this week. My grandma called me this morning and said my sister was going to bring me the playpen that she isn't using anymore on Wednesday morning and I said grandma she can't bring it Wednesday morning I am going to be in the hospital and she is for what and I told her I am having the baby then and she was that's the 15th and I said yes. She couldn't believe that day has come up so fast. Her birthday is on the 16th so the baby will be here on the day before her birthday.Well I think that will depend on how Monday's doctor apptointment goes- it might be before the 15th or he might go ahead and wait until the 15th since it is only two days before the 15th. Hopefully the appointment will go good my blood pressure is not so high. I will let you know how it went on Monday when I get home. Let me know how your appointment goes on Tuesday.

Reply Contact Yes, on Wednesday but not sure want time the hospital is suppose to call me on Monday and tell me want time to be there and what not to do and what to do on Tuesday night. I am exicited and anxious and can't believe the baby's going to be here in THREE DAYS!

And doctor wants me to go to the hospital tomorrow for a nst test one last time. And he will see me on Wednesday morning to have the baby. I have to be there at five o'clock in the morning. I am getting real exicited,but still having a hard time believing the baby is going to be here already. I keep telling my husband we need to pack for the hospital but still haven't done it.
