Isaac is 2.8lbs and measuring right on for 28w. (I will be tomorrow). I gained 1lb. wich totals me at 7lbs now. It was a great appt. Since I read this so late you might not get it before tomorrow but good luck! I will be looking for pictures!!!

I went into the high risk doctor monday and was told my cervix changed frm 1.6 to .4 so they sent me directly to the hospital for an emergency cerclage. I got the cerclage done yesterday morning I was just discharged today on strict bed rest....baby is movin n doin well. hopefully this will keep him in for at least 10 more weeks

I am so glad they could do the cerclage and it was sucessful! Staying down is so hard. I am 28w now and am stable. My next big goal is 32w. When are you due? I am due Jan. 7. Well I will be here so if ya  need to talk! I will be praying for you and your lil one. :) How are you feeling by the way?

Reply Contact yes very scary the only ppl I told I was goin to the hospital was my boyfriend and my parents because I wasn't too positive on the outcome...but I prayed through the surgery. and as soon as they were done he kicked...im fine I don't feel the stitch only thing that's sore is where they put the spinal..lucky u you'll be in the clear soon I have 10 more weeks

  Re: Put on bed rest at 23w...... Reply Contact Yeah I only have another 4w. But I did start off at 23w. Just set small goals for your self. Next one is 25w, thats a big one. Then after that its 28w then 32w! I am sure with the cergclage you will be fine. I have heard they pretty much make it fool proof for you to get into the 30w time frame. Thats cool you dont feel the stich. My cervix was funneling so the outside is not really affected, it is soft but not open. Its only open on the inside, so I was not a canidate for a cerclage or I would have gotten one.

Well Tuesday I went to my nst test and my blood pressure was 155/92 then in ten mins. it was 189/101. Well dr. didn't like it and scared me the dr. said we are having baby today. So Sebastian Christopher was born on Tuesday October 14,2008. We just came home today. He is so small. He weighed only 5 poinds and 10 ounces and was 18 3/4 inches long. Sorry there will be no pictures I have no way posting any pictures.

  Re: Put on bed rest at 23w...... Reply Contact Thank you. How are you doing? I'm trying to get as much rest as I can,but no matter how much I lay down to rest it doesn't seem to be enough rest. It seems that I am more tired with this delivery than I was with the last two delivery. I think it's because I got sick on the medicine that they gave to get the blood pressure down and to keep me from going into a seizure and it took all the energy that I had out of me. If you don't mind I would like to keep posting here to see how you are doing even though I had my baby already.

  Re: Put on bed rest at 23w...... Reply Contact I dont think anyone is gonna care! lol I am doing great. My husband is going to be coming home Thurs and I cant wait!!! He gets to go to my next appt with me. It will be the ONLY appt he has gone to or will get to go to. I am thinking about getting a 3d/4d u/s but they are so expensive! He has seen pictures of the u/s but not a live one. He wont be home for the birth and he wont be home until he is about 3m old. So I am thinking it will be worth it for him. I am sorry you cant get enought rest. You have to keep in mind that you have THREE kids! lol I am one of 3 and my mom said that having my lil sis was the hardest, she is the last one! So maybe thats why you are so tired too. Well try to catch up when you can! Give that lil baby tons of love! I just love lil babies! Everything they do is exciting and so darn cute!

  Re: Put on bed rest at 23w...... Reply Contact That is exiciting news about your husband coming home on Thursday and it will be worth to get the 3d/4d us when he is here. My two girls came home from their grandparents who live in Phoenix today. I was so exicited to see them and almost cried when I saw them. They were there for a week. It was so cute watching their reactions to Sebastian. My four year old kept giving him hugs and helped feed his bottle to him and held him while dad changed our other little girl. Our littlest one didn't know what to do with Sebastian. I go tomorrow to get my staples out . I can't wait until I get them out. Sebastian is doing good. Okay I think I need to go now I can't even focus on what I want to say and type. I'm starting to get real tired again and light headed.

Reply Contact Sassette, sorry I didn''t reply to you earlier, I rarely check over here, usually I'm on the Dec. 08 board. How many weeks are you now? Hopefully you are still hanging in there. I'm 34 weeks now and i just got released from bedrest after 7 weeks. I know you are scared, I hope everything turns out for the best for you and your little boy.

I go to my high risk doctor every week to check to the status of the stitch and they also put me on procardia every 6 hrs until im 34 weeks. they also want me to get the steroid shots this week for the babys lungs. I had a scare yesterday i was brushin my teeth and started to feel a stabbing pain in my pelvic area so i rushed to the bed n just took the rest of the nite real slow. but my baby is just kickin away every 2 hrs. n very sensitive to noise ne thin gets him startled. ur lucky ive been on nedrest for 4 weeks n got 8 more to go.
