    Oops!

Hi, I used to post here quite often when I was pregnant with my son - he'll be 2 in October. It took me almost 2 years to conceive him. I was 36 when I had him, and my dh and I said we were done having babies (I also have 2 stepdaughters). Today I realized AF was late, so I took a test, and yep - BFP. I'm totally surprised, and not thrilled. I'm worried about so many things - most of all the financial aspect of this. I got rid of so many baby things since we were done, and our credit isn't so good right now, which means we'll have trouble buying a bigger car, which we'll need for all the kids to fit! On top of all that, I haven't told DH yet - he's out of town, and I think I should tell him in person. Anyone have any suggestions or advice?

    Thanks in advance!

I would take some time to digest the information and get a little more comfortable with the idea before you tell DH.  Considering this is a surprise I would definately wait and discuss things in person.  I'm sure his initial reaction will be similar to yours and it won't do much good to have both of you freaking out.  Try not to feel to overwhelmed right now by focusing on all the little things that you will need.  God has blessed you with this gift and if he can bring you to it he can bring you through it!  I wish you all the best!
