    Re: Weigh in

Beginning weight: 156 Todays weight: 170 Total weight gained: 24 Weeks pregnant: 34 Due: Dec 12 I gained 30lbs with #1 and #2 and 50lbs with #3 and #4, my last was the only one that I hadn't lost all the weight before I became preggo again, and I was still about 10lbs over when I started so I like to add that in too, so 34lbs LOL I have a feeling this last month is going to be a doozy though with Halloween and Thanksgiving!!! I'm not being careful or doing anything different so I'm not sure.

    Re: Weigh in

SAME HERE lol  I can't post the before pregnancy weight but I will say I've gained 16-20 lbs.  The GD has made me lose probably 5-8 lbs already and I haven't gone up in weight for 1.5 months while baby obviously has been growing (@ 33 wks it was 5lb 2 oz).

Exclusive breastfeeding will help anyone who is concerned about the weight gain during pregnancy.  I can attest to this being true because after my ds was born, I didn't really exercise nor watched what I ate, but still managed to lose the entire 30-35 lbs I gained while pregnant.

    Musical Christy:

I can NOT bring myself to put my weight in print... but i have lost 28lbs this pregnancy so far... as of 32wks

    miss_ali_j:
    Pre-pregnancy weight: 120

    Today's weight: 149

Total weight gain: 29 lbs (yikes!)

    Weeks pregnant: 33

I'm so confused on the weight gain thing though--according to my doctor, my pre-pregnancy weight was 133, since that was my weight at my first doc appt. BUT, I was 120 when I found out I was pregnant, so I've been counting weight gain from that. According to my doctor though, I shouldn't have gained any weight in those first 8 weeks of pregnancy, so any weight I gained before my first appt was NOT pregnancy related. Does that make sense?!?! So he says that I've only gained 16 lbs so far and not to worry so much about my weight gain this time around. I'm just going to stop weighing myself :( It's depressing lol

That might not have gone to the baby, but it is pregnancy related. With my first son I was dieting everyday (WW, 19 points) to maintain my figure and the moment I found out I was pregnant I stopped dieting and gained 17 pounds in the first trimester.
