About Tawni

I'm 23 and a full time college student at IU school of Nursing. I have a three year old son (who will be four in June) named Owen. His father and I have been engaged and living together since I was 17 and a senior in high school- due to finances and necessity (in order to get the funding I need to stay in school etc) we have put off the wedding until graduation from college (which will be in may of 2011). We weren't planning on having another child for another 2 years- but I had an emergency oophorectomy in July during which my surgeon discovered some pretty severe endometriosis-performed a laproscopy- and told me that if I wanted another biological child- I shouldnt wait until I finished school because the damage from the scar tissue by then might make it nearly impossible to concieve- so we started trying- concieved after four months (to my suprise) and are planning on possibly adopting a third child after I graduate. We had a house together that was flooded in June of '08 and are now relocating into another county and are extremely excited to rebuild our lives with a new addition in a new home and a new place. I couldn't ask for a more supportive spouse or precious little boy. We also have a rescued pup named Napolean (because he has a little man complex :) ) who is a beagle and whippet/greyhoud mix (I couldnt live without him :) )--a cat named oliver we took over for a friend due to apartment restrictions- and a female iguana named bob lol :) I'm loving life and looking forward to seeing our new addition in early August :)
